A brief to your Badrinath trip!

Neither Chardham nor Do Dham is any easy when it comes to trekking, but there are easy and accessible mediums to tackle with all of length and intensity. Amid this, Badrinath is considered the door to heaven. Peaking along with a trek to this place is going to relieve you of any stress and takes with itself a spiritual journey. Let's take a detailed look at the whereabouts of the Badrinath.

  • According to the latest stats, the Badrinath temple opens on the 8th of May this year. Considering the temperature conditions favour this place, the temple shall remain open until October of this year. Since the place is situated at an altitude of 3133 metres in the mighty hills of Garhwal, the temperature is one of the major factors that determines the opening and closing of the place.
  • The aarti timing of the places differs, however. The infamous Mangal aarti takes place at around 4:30 am, and the shayan aarti is known to take place at around 8:30 at night.

Apart from this, there are several places of beauty to be considered in this place, which are:

  • The Tapt Kund: This particular place is believed to be Lord Agni's abode and is thus pious.
  • The Narad Kund: This is another infamous hot water spring of the place taking a dip that is considered to relieve you of many diseases.

Some other places in the area include Bheem pul, Pandukeshwar, Yogdhyan and Brahmakapal, along with Mana village and Satopanth lake. Make sure to go ahead with the right package from Chardham Plan and make the most of your Badrinath and Yamunotri Yatra.
