Itinerary

  • Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar

    Arrival at the Airport / railway station meet and assist by ITT executive and later to drive to Haridwar, on arrival transfer to your Hotel. Visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti in evening. Back to your hotel, Night halt.
    Haridwar : Haridwar, lying at the feet of Shiva's hills, i.e., Shivaliks, in the Haridwar district of Uttaranchal Pradesh, is a doorway. Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth forms Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful water revived the sixty thousand sons of king Sagara. In the traditional of Bhagirath, devout Hindus stand in the sacred waters here, praying for salvation of their departed elder. It is doorway to the sources of the Ganga and the Yamuna, 3000 to 4500 meters up into the snowy ranges of the central Himalayas . The 'Aarti' worship of the Ganga after sunset and the floating 'dia' (lamp) is a moving ritual.

  • Day 2: Haridwar - Barkot

    Drive to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. Enroute visit Kempty Fall and others later drive straight to your Hotel for night halt.

  • Day 3: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot

    Early morning after breakfast (packed breakfast), move to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti & star trek from here to Yamunotri (6kms) (Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost). After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and having “Darshan” of “Yamunotri” return to Jankichatti by trek. Later move towards Barkot, Stay overnight at Barkot.
    Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur constructed the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and reconstructed again. At Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Tapt kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as “Prasad”. Here near the temple “Pooja” can be offered to Divya Shila.
    Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs near temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most significant of these is Surya Kund.
    Yamunotri Weather : In summer the maximum temp is 18 degrees and the minimum is 10 degrees Celsius. The days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold

  • Day 4: Barkot - Uttarkashi

    Morning after breakfast, moving for Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Uttarkashi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Stay overnight at Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi is home to a number of ashrams, temples. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, town of Uttarkashi is also situated on the banks of River Ganga.
    Vishwanath temple - Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Rebuilt in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A heavy iron trident, symbolic of divine mother's, is erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganeshji, Sakshi Gopal, Markandeya Rishi's small shrines are also part of the temple complex. Akhand Jyoti as well as Akhand Abhishek, special aarti at morning and evening is offered. As per Skunda Puran, Uttarkashi is known as 'Saumya Varanasi', the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyug and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
    Shakti temple - Right in front of the Vishwanath temple is Shakti temple. It has a big 'Trishul (Trident)'' of about 6 meters in height and a circumference of 90 cms. at bottom. Though there are different views about the making of this, the upper part of it seems to be made up of iron and the lower one is of copper. As per the epics this Shakti was thrown on the devils by the Goddess Durga (Shakti), hence it gets its name. Since then this Shakti is erected over here.
    Uttarkashi Weather - Generally hot in summer, the temperature average from 30-35 degree Celsius but nights is agreeable, Cold in winters.

  • Day 5: Uttarkashi- Gangotri- Uttarkashi

    Early morning (5:00 AM) drive to Gangotri. At Gangotri take a holy dip in the river Ganga, It's also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Then go for Temple darshan, after temple darshan drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.

  • Day 6: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi

    Morning (7:00 AM) after breakfast check out from the hotel and then drive to Guptkashi via Tehri Dam. On arrival at Guptkashi check-in the hotel, in evening we will visit the famous temple of Kashi –Vishwnath at Guptkashi. After temple darshan back to hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 7: Guptkashi- Kedarnath

    Early morning ( 5:00 AM) check-out from the hotel and drive to Gourikund. From here, we will start 17 Kms trek to Kedarnath. Either by walk, Doli or by horse at own cost. On arrival at Kedarnath, check-in. In the evening visit Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple and take a part in evening Aarti. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

  • Day 8: Kedarnath - Guptkashi

    Early morning (4:00 AM) go for temple darshan, after darshan back to Hotel. After breakfast trek down to Gaurikund. Later drive to Guptkashi. On arrival check-in the Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 9: Guptkashi - Badrinath

    Morning ( 7:00 AM) after breakfast drive to Badrinath via Chopta. On arrival check-in the hotel. After a short break go for interesting sightseeing of Mana Village (the last village before the Tibetan border). Visit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Charanpaduka, Bhim pul and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati river. After that back to hotel, In the evening go for aarti. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 10: Badrinath - Govind Ghat - Ghangaria

    Early morning ( 4:00 AM ) take bath in Taptkund it's also called Suryakund then go for temple darshan, after having temple darshan back to hotel. After breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed to Govind Ghat. From here, start 14 kms trek to Ghangaria. On arrival check-in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 11: Ghangaria - Valley of Flower - Ghangaria

    Morning (7:00) after breakfast start 4 Kms trek to Valley of Flower. After spending some time in this spectacular valley then trek down to Ghangaria for overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 12: Ghangaria - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangaria

    Morning start trek to Hemkund Sahib. upon arrival Darshan of Shree Hemkun Saheb Ji. than trek down to Ghangharia. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 13: Ghangariya - Govindghat - Auli- Pipalkoti

    Morning after breakfast start ur 13 km trek Back to Govinghat and drive to Pipalkothi. Enroot visit Auli. Overnight stay.

  • Day 14: Pipalkoti - Haridwar

    morning, after relux breakfast. Drive back to Haridwar. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay. visit Rishikesh Local Sight Seeing (Ram Jhulla, Laxman Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan, Shivananda and Gita Kutir). After Lunch, drive to Haridwar. Check in Hotel.

  • Day 15: Haridwar - Delhi

    Drive back to Delhi . On Arr. Delhi, transfer to Railway Station / Airport.
